In 1991, Steven designed and implemented a golf program for elite golfers at The Victorian Institute of Sport. With the support of Dale Lynch, Steven established "The Victorian Institute of Sports Golf Program". As Head Coach, the V.I.S. program quickly became Australia's premier golf program and is the only institute or academy to produce five US PGA Tour professionals.

Steven is currently the National Director of Coaching for BannLynchGolf and is a AAA accredited full member of the PGA of Australia.

Other Achievements:

· Steven was Victorian State Coach 1989-1993 and Victorian Ladies State Coach 1993-1996.

· Steven was Victorian Institute of Sport Head Coach from 1991-1997.

· Steven has coached leading Australian players Stuart Appleby (5 US PGA Tour wins) and Robert Allenby (4 US PGA Tour wins) since they were juniors. Steven is still coach of Stuart Appleby to this day.

· Steven also dedicates much of time to working with his young talented golfers. Including 2003 US Amateur Champion, Nick Flanagan and European tour player Carlie Butler.

· Steven has been a US PGA Tour accredited coach since 1998.

· Steven has presented at PDP seminars for The Australian PGA both at state and national levels.

· Steven's coaching has also extended to the written word. Steven was a past teaching editor and current contributor to Golf Australia magazine. In addition, Steven has published four books:

"My First Golf Book" - An Introduction to the game of golf for junior players.
"Golf Gadgets" - Explains the world of golf improvement products.
"Play Like the Pros" - Compilation of Steven and Dale Lynch's top 100 instructional lessons from their weekly newspaper columns.
"Simply Golf - Back to Basics" - This book and DVD is your complete guide to achieving ultimate enjoyment playing the royal and ancient game.
